Airsoft Training Academy Charter

Our goal and mission statement is to develop young and inexperienced airsofters, people who are new to the sport, into effective and productive members of teams and valued members of the Airsoft community as a whole. By teaching and practicing proven skills; we hope to encourage growth within the community by enriching airsofter’s experience and bringing out their talents on the field.

Participation:
We invite all people,14 and older, wishing to participate in our training regimen with a few provisos
1. If you are a minor, as in under the age of 18, we invite you to come and participate on the condition that you turn in a signed waiver and that we meet your parent or guardian. We believe that Airsoft can sometimes be a strenuous and taxing activity and the hobby as a whole can end up costing a large sum of money over time. We would like to express this to the parents of minor participants so they can know what to expect. We are not a babysitting organization and this is a requirement.
2. We invite participants to come train with us to see what we have to offer. We would like you to announce your intention to participate with the academy within your first or second time attending, if you wish to make your participation official then we will invite you to follow our basic loadout requirements. This is not a suggestion but a requirement of regular participation with the Academy.
3. If you decide that you don’t want to continue to participate or you are found lacking in the skills, initiative, or attitude we will reserve the right to ask you to discontinue your participation.

Requirements for membership:
-14 years old or older. (minors will need parental sign off)
-Approval by Academy leaders
-Attendance to 1/2 or more of Academy mustering
-Meeting of uniform requirements, or Academy leader waiver (new-joins get a short term waiver)
-Abide by the code of honor
-Be able to physically and emotionally handle the stress of airsoft

Code of Honor
The Academy CoH is based on the “failure to do rightâ€

Be able to physically and emotionally handle the stress of airsoft

I personally use airsoft to rid me off stress. How is shooting someone stressful? I guess there are those people.

I'm pretty sure you can still join up and learn plenty.

Woodland is cheap, you can get a full set for 10-20 dollars.

Shit, I'm sure there are people that would donate a set to you in the hope of increasing your level of competence.

P.S. The word you are looking for is effective, not affective

Not really. I was at gators the other day and there was next to no woodies left in regular human sizes. Just super fat and super small. I was able to get a set for jester, but it ran 30 darus! :O

That being said, I predict "extreme makeovers" levels of effort on Tim and everyone else's part to make 750 a functional human being. Let alone a competent airsofter.

you've never seen me airsoft. You may have but you don't know what i look like, only like 3 people do. I'd rather not spend money for camo i'll use once. I'll just learn from experience and keep playing regular skirmishes

You realize that this will be monthly training you can attend, not a one time deal don't you?

Its cool man this group is not going to be for everyone.
However I would have to disagree that you won't use woodland again, about 95% of games allow it.
