You should come out to some games and meet the different teams. It's easier to see in person which style of team and members you like best.

You don't NEED a team.

There are plenty of players who are not affiliated with any teams.

You just come out to the events you want to go to and are assigned to a side based on camo pattern.

Wear the camo that people you want to play with wear, or that the side you want to be on is wearing.
When brute force doesn't solve your problems, you aren't using enough
