As I keep saying every time I see one of these threads pop up:

You don't actually NEED a team to play airsoft.

You go to the games you want to go to in the camo you want to wear.

Get to know people, play with them, and then join up with people you like.

There are plenty of players who aren't on any team.

I'm not aware of any team in the entire PacNW region that has this requirement. There are, however, some teams that train and recruit new/inexperienced/younger players. I suggest looking at attending PLA or ATAC training days.

Most serious teams will not actively recruit 14 year olds without a demonstrable display of maturity and skill. In other words, you would be better served attending events as an individual and playing alongside teams you would be interested in, with the hopes that you show them enough talent to warrant recruitment.

You dont need a team to play, like mini said. But i will say this. There are a few noobings on PLA that would not even have the knowledge and skill they have gotten if it wasn't for sitting on our private chat room and talking about gear, and then joining a team and having a base of new friends to ask questions and they wont get pissed at you.

It can help to be on a team, you will learn something, with some teams (PLA does training led by ex Military) have a training they do that is private or open.
