104th Special Airborne Rescue Squadron (S.A.R.S.)
Because even Green Berets, Recon Marines and Navy Seals need to Call 911!

The 104th SARS is currently looking for new members around Coos and Curry counties. SARS is based on a USAF Pararescue unit, many of our members where former Civil Air Patrol members or work in the medical field, such as emergency medical technicians, first responders, and combat life savers.

SARS was formed in July of 2008 and had been formed form other team members in the area such a Dune Corps and SORR. Our team members are hard working folks and fun to be around. We love the sport of airsoft and we would like the sport to be a long lasting one, therefore we teach new members appropriate was of playing airsoft. We also enjoy doing game camp outs as well as doing non-airsoft events. All of our members are supportive and respectful to others and believe that long as you pull your weight and respectful back most recruits go a long way in the team.

As a mill sim team we do have a Air Force rank structure. Members have access to a unit patch and after buying their first rank patch they can trade up for there next rank upon promotion. Members are reviewed by NCOs and Officers and then are promoted by time of service, conduct, and other traits and contributions to the team.


SARS is currently using a privet field where we are able to improve 35 acres of woods, a high grass field and a old 2400 square foot concrete house for CQC. We are in the process of clearing and improving this field for a future airsoft events on the coast.


Our requirements for members:
Is a team uniform and kit
Recruits are responsible for purchasing the team uniform and AEG.
New recruits can substitute woodland BDUs till they can afford an OD uniform.

Our main kit Consists of:
BDU Cover either patrol cap or bonnie
BDU combat Pants
BDU combat shirt
Black or Tan Military Boots
Vests/ Webbing/Plate Carriers can be Black, coyote, or OD
Low or Mid cap Mags (High caps are highly discouraged)

AEGs:
Can be any current military platform such as M4s, G36, Ak47, P-90, Sig 552, Mp5, ect ect....

While recruits attend our training we do evaluations to decide if SARS is going to be the right team for them to play.

Minors and Membership:
17-16 years of age is the minimum age for joining SARS with parent consent. If there parents are members and play often then we will look at going below 16 depending on the child and as long as the parent is present to each game.
