SPEC FORCE

Postby London » Fri Aug 26, 2011 11:28 am

Hello all, I'd like to introduce a new-ish team based out of the Junction City/Eugene area. We call ourselves SPEC FORCE and are loosely based off of a Special Forces Squad. We are comprised of one squad (11 men) and subdivided into 2 fire teams (4 men + Team Leader). Our team is used as a promotional/recruiting tool by our parent organization the Central Aid Agency and therefore we have pretty rigid standards for membership, we also utilize that organization's rank and unit structure. Our team currently consists of 11 members:

Squad Commander: B7Cmdr. Ben Bower

Team 1:
1. B7Cmdr. Alex Agoff (Team Lead)
2. B7Cmdr. Peter Helms (Chaplain)
3. Pvt. Curran Richcreek
4. Pvt. Hunter Whittaker
5. <Open>
6. CCpt, Johnny Wheeler (Honorary Member)

Team 2:
1. B7Cmdr. Kyle Chez (Team Lead)
2. Pfc. Lucas Martinez
3. Psc. Ben Buchholz (Sniper)
4. B7Cmdr. Tucker Jones (Medic)
5. B7Cmdr. Brandon Bower

We wear OD BDUs with OD gear and black boots, although we allow black, multicam, and woodland gear as well. We also wear genuine M1 steel pot helmets or military style hats (OD). We technically are a modern tactical team, but many of us have Vietnam impressions as well. Because we are a part of the C.A.A. all our gear is subject to regulations regarding make, style, and function.

We train once a month at a private training facility operated by the Central Aid Agency. We also utilize a large playing area outside of Cheshire where we hold public events and games. We are fairly new to the airsoft community and have only played with local teams in our area, although we are almost ready to start attending larger events. Our team was founded in September 2010.

We are always looking for new people and teams to play with who enjoy the sport as much as we do. During the school year we often hold public skirmishes about once a month at our field outside of Cheshire as a way to build our experience as a team and to meet other teams and players.

Our webpage on our parent site can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Spec-Forc ... ark_t=page

Thanks for reading!

Hello members of AP, just wanted to post some updates about SPEC FORCE and what we've been up to these days. We've stepped back from doing public games and events do to scheduling issues and the increased operations of our parent organization, the Central Aid Agency which takes most of our time. Instead we have been focusing lately more on milsim, intensive training, and team building exercises at our private training facility about once a month. We structure our training to be very organized and strive for realism as we transition into accurate milsim with a coming focus on CQC. Even though our team is not very active in the larger community, we do hope that in future that will change. In the meantime here are some pictures of some of our recent activities. More information, as well as photos can be found on our facebook page, feel free to like us while you're there! http://www.facebook.com/pages/CAA-Spec- ... ark_t=page

The original MultiCam is Sandgelb, seeing as it was the new fashion in colour for DAK units. And oh god I've become a total anorak.

Anyway, great uniforms there :D You'll get along with Fragistan just fine. Just get more old guns and then you'll be really cool.

@ Vogonford: Yes some period guns would be nice, a few of us have Thompson's but as of yet it's only a primary for one of our members. Several of us are looking into Vietnam era guns, but of course we'd need to get the Vietnam helmet covers to pull off that look correctly.

@Variable: Thank you.

@ Tankwitch: Thanks! I'm hoping that in the future we can be more active in this area, and play with more of the local teams, but right now our schedules don't permit it unfortunately.
