The ART of Combat shotgunning.

Discuss airsoft shotguns, launchers, and other related equipment.

Just saw a whole Modern Marvels on shotgun. Good stuff. And while I do believe shotguns have a place in combat, I have yet to see it done right in airsoft, manufacturers just haven't quite mastered it.

Hope springs eternal...

SPAS is harder to Pump. But it's a hell of a lot more badass looking.

There is no difference performance wise between the two.

I really enjoyed the SPAS and just because of looks, I would pick up another.

Oraly? I hardly knew her! DRAT has a few good UTG shotgun stories from when people's guns have tanked it. Now we have backup AEGs instead of backup UTG shotties.

Id run a shotty if I was into the whole "getting up in y'alls grille". But, sadly, I'm not :(
I had some serious lulz as soon as I heard The Prodigy playing in the video, silly brits.

Morg, I was with you at that Game... the CQC event in Washington where you had your lil' Blackwater hat and English style coat with one missing button Lol. You raped that guy in the arse while me and Hammer came around the back, I'll always remember shouting to you and Knucks, "CHECK YOUR CORNERS!" Lol.

And I really want a TM shotty like the one you were running, I'm hell bent on getting one.

That was just an awesome event all around.

"Look! He's got wood!" Lol, ah good times.

Shotguns definatnly have a place in CQC, dunno about woodland, definantly a challenge! I almost bought a Marui SPAS-12 once I heard a shotgun user at SACOM tell me about it: "I turned the corner in the long hall, fired, and racked up 2 kills. When you enter a room, just aim in the general direction, and if someones there, you got a kill..." But I got a P90.... If i was going to use a shotgun, it be a full stock one for faster pumping, and the M3S90 is like the length of an M16... Not so great IMO for CQB.

BTW, UTG is releasing a "triple shot" shotgun M3 pistol grip and full stock, wonder if it will be POS like their AEGs...

I had all but the mustache down at op SP. The problem though is that a BB got stuck between the tri nozzle of my SPAS about 15 min before game time so I couldn't hit anything past 20 ft. But yeah the coolest shotgun I think would be to take a SPAS, and swap out the internals of one of clairence Lai's M870s and use his buckshot shells. I know you said no gas shotties Kabar, but mine's broken, and it is a problem commonplace with all TM shotties, so take heed of this warning! You are more likely to break a stock TM shotty than a stock TM AEG. I still want a new one though!

that only happens if you slam fire your Shottie. The first TM M# I got was never slam firedand you can tell by looking at the internals Sadly it broke where the slide rails push on the cylinder.

I slam fired it once, and that was weeks before OPSP, but it had no effect on anything.

How about dry firing? Will that hurt a TM shotgun like it will an AEG?
