Quick m203 Question

I bought a CA m203 on the forums the other day, and I really dont like the RIS mount it came with (it wobbles). I've been looking for an adapter to make it barrel mounted, and I THINK I've found it.

So... Would this make this into a barrel mounted M203?

And if it doesent, does anybody know an adapter that would?

Your talking about attaching to an M4/16 barrel right? You need the front mount you linked along with the rear barrel mount (not sure what its called, but its the curved do-hicky shown in the bottom left of this http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=5811 pic) Where one can be picked up is a different story.

Nasty: I've already tried tightening those two screws and they were already nice and tight. There is side-to-side woble between the RIS mount and the rails themselves.

Jewish: Yea. And I was hoping that wasn't the answer. Oh well... I'm gunna keep browsing.

You can try adding a piece of doubled up electrical tape to go between the RIS and the mount. Should work fine (works fine for me)

Unfortunately not all rails / mounts are MILSPEC. I have had the same issues with other rail mounted accessories. Like mentioned above, some sort of spacer material to fill in the slack will usually do the job

Good idea! Worked pretty darn well too.

Still wish I could find those barrel mounts though ...
-I was hoping to get a m16 style heatshield and m16 length barrel to go for the scarface look. Ah well, I might try putting an add up tonight on ze classifieds...
