M203 on an M4

Postby pwning_ur_ass » Fri Jul 30, 2010 3:07 pm

I am getting close to buying a 203 for my E1 stag arms m4. I am curious which would look better. The long or short type?

Another thing is the Longer one will launch a Nerf foot ball farther.

Long one looks better too. ; )

lol alright. But I dont have the stock outer barrel. I have a silencer on it so would it look funky if the m203 stuck out further than the barrel?

1: Suppressor, not a silencer.

2: Yes.

3: Yes.

with the barrel and body design on the E1 guns, you are asking for a broken gun by putting that much extra weight on the front.

is your gun the metal body version, or the plastic one?

In my experience, tennis balls have been far more useful than 40mm BB showers. If your goal is to launch a projectile from your M203, then tennis balls are also much cheaper.

Its full metal. It wont have a problem with the weight I just want to know what looks better. I'm sure the long one does, plus its better for shooting things other than the bb showers

Don't get either. 203s aren't that useful unless you have a bunch of shells.

Save your money for other things.

QFT

M203s are a waste of money. I haven't used mine in a game in months. Frag grenades are much more useful than 40mm grenades. Tennis balls are commonly used as frags in games.

And the weight factor. I'm just selling mine because I don't use it at all.

I dont care about the weight. I'm strong enough to hold it and the sight of a m203 aimed at someone, will cause shitting of one's pants

Yeah....it doesn't make me shit my pants, because chances are, I can take you out before you aim the thing, and even if you do, the range is rubbish, so I'll still probably be ok.

Use the money to get a good sidearm.

That's funny, Nasty, I was just about to say something like that.

But anyway, in accordance with what Nasty said; you should not buy an M203 if you are not ever going to get close enough to someone to fire it at them. The only person I have ever seen achieve multiple kills in the heat of battle with the enemy directly facing said enemy using an M203 was Switch. You should probably save any money that you have and, though I hate to disagree with with Nasty, get a better gun than an Echo1. I would suggest a Classic Army or a G&P. If that doesn't agree with your taste, then just get mids, gear, and whatever else you may need.

Getting a sidearm is sort of pointless, and I've only used it once.

Oh calm down.. Looks dont matter, it's the inner spirit of your gun that counts.
Ok ok. Um I would suggest eh the m203 sticking out as far as possible. I think that's normal, no biggy. And also, yes, it should help with distance a bit, which is the mega downfall of these things.
