Thunder B flashbang

Postby Abe » Mon Aug 02, 2010 12:09 pm

I just picked up a Thunder B about 2 days ago, I finaly got a chance to try it out today, and out of about 12 c02 cartidges, I only got 2 to work.

I have tryed tightening and and losening all the parts.

There was also this rubber black peice the manual said to use, and when I tryed it with out it (the two times it worked) the Flashbang worked, so I figured that was the problem. Well I tryed it later today without the black peice, no luck.

Im hoping it is an "oh yeah I know whats wrong, it's simple" kind of problem.

Any thoughts on what the problem might be?

Thanks.

oh and if this is the wrong forums, please move to where ever.
Im down, but i'm not out.

I know most of sota had similar problems with these grenades. there are some modifications that can be done. now all of mine go off in two sedonds and rarely fail.

as aeono said "Talk to Jesse"

It's easy. Get a drillpress (or a drill, if you've got steady hands). Drill a hole with a pretty small bit through the metal cylinder that holds the co2 canister. That's it.

I am guessing I would drill the bottom of the metal cylinder? (the metal cap)

Geshutz, awesome vid - thanks for this little gem!
Just curious - have you tried it using just one hole instead of drilling all the way through? ( I noticed it still blew pretty quick)
Also, what size drill bit did you use?

Thanks! This should cure the 'hiss' problem Im having from shiezey threads (I had to cut the necks from the core twice now from them blowing off the body, so I'm leaky now...)

Actually Shogun did the drilling. The only reason it is going off that fast is the co2 i am using. the canisters on the ones I am using are slightly longer. if i used a crosman c02 it will take a little longer to explode.

When using crosman co2, you can drill at a different position.
