Awesome footage! They look much more practical than claymores. I assume the water one sprays water vapor, not water? Great review!

I've got the powder version. Its pretty cool and i ended up using flour as the powder. For practicality(don't know if thats the right word) it was alright because lugging around a bag of flour for refills got old pretty quick as well as the hole digging.

good video work, clearly shows the features and an actual in game example of their use. Wouldnt mind having one of these

I didn't think these things were practical until now. Especially the water one. I'd be pretty pissed off if a jet of water soaked me during a game. Seeing it in action, it looks more like a mist than a jet.

And strictly speaking, mist is not vapor. Mist is liquid water droplets that are floating, but not dissolved, in air. Water vapor is gaseous water and is invisible.
I'm a "fair weather" airsofter. I only play in the pouring rain, freezing cold, or broiling heat.

Nicely done video!

For you AP folks, RAP4 has several similar type mines, although they are slightly smaller. I will be demo/using the RAP4 mines and powder shot mines at the PLA training AUG 14-15 during our sapper training section. The RAP4's use green gas and a 203 like shell in lieu of the co2.
I'm really liking the water mine, can't wait to see one.

Matt, are you just getting them for review, or planning on selling them? a quick online foray does not turn up any of the water filled type.

For review. I'll probably use them for events after we finish with the reviews.

I don't mind getting wet. I just don't like it when people get me wet against my will.

someone should buy like 200 of these and make a minefield at one of the OP's , expensive as hell, but it would be funny

08-15-10; I bought 3 of these based on what I saw here ( the water ones) Initially I was skeptical of them. They were used at PLA training this weekend, and I will tell you they work great!. they were placed along the main trail and we were aware that they were there. We checked every inch , or so we thought. Two of our assault squad got taken out by them. First you hear this whoosh as you get soaked by the water. Its pretty loud and can be heard from a distance. It was pretty hot and its was cooling to be soaked with nasty creek water. You can't help but get a big smile as they go off. I would definitely buy them again. In fact I'm thinking about getting more. They come in a funky yellow color. I spray painted the cover in flat black. Almost impossible to spot when buried. Thats all for now......don't want to upstage Matt.
