Yeah, pare down that intro.

So, when it works, it works beautifully. But if there's a single problem with it, its shit, is that what I'm getting? Go with the trip wire most of the time?

I like the intro. And you can always skip it. Anyway I thin the claymores are great in theory but even the trip wire is fiddly. Wouldn't even consider the remote. If you have the time and the patience then I would say go for it. Other than that there are other easier toys to set up
