New to the shotgun.

I plan on purchasing a shotgun after finding out that I love the intensity of close quarters combat. I plan on purchasing either:

A: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=5991

or

B: http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info ... s_id=30188

I was wondering if you guys had any tips for me on what to purchase, what's better the multi or single shot shotgun, and any tips on the art of shotgunning.

Note: Yes I did use the search function but I also would like as much info as possible before making my purchase. And I did read KABARS thread which was very helpful.

For CQB, the tri shot is best.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the retractable stock. I prefer the M3 full stock design.
Well, you can start a new topic and get flamed for not searching, or you can search and get flamed for necro-posting. It's really your choice...

I play field and for the first half of the game my targets will be 25+ yards far. Heres a vid of the field (please don't judge me, my friend filmed this in middle school =P I suggest you put it on mute): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26czZvbZ9eI
And as for the stock, only the retractable stock versions are in stock on quality websites.

Find a full stock for sure. The retractables suck a$$. A lot of wobble, and can jam itself when shouldering it, so fast adjustments are almost impossible. Also, if you are planing on using it for mid and close range, a single shot isn't a bad choice. It is what I run, and with the right ammo, it can hit out pretty far. Although for super close, it isn't best, but you can get the single bb through holes that would be difficult to do with a tri shot. Just my $.02

OHHH dude that stock has hella wobble!! Just a warning a good friend of mine has that style, cool look horrible wobble but I do recommend a tri shot. If you want a shotgun go for one that shoots like one.. =D

Hey you saw it at the last skirm  Screwdriver+super glue=fixed.

OT: Yes, get the full stock. The retractable ones look cool, but they are prone to wobble and the quality isn't too great.

Another thing, if you plan on using a shotgun as an outdoor primary, get ready to get shot. A lot. Don't get me wrong, it can be tons of fun, but it takes practice, something I am still learning.
