CAMP R&R BUILD DAY! Plus CAG training.

Postby MillerSA15 » Sat Oct 08, 2011 12:07 am

These are always open to all, and we encourage anyone who would like to, to come out and participate.

Image

Location: Camp R&R

Saturday:

0800: Show up and gear up, instruction begins

0900-1200 individual up to fire team level instruction

1200: WORK PARTY BUILDING TIME! FREE LUNCH FOR WORKERS! Break for lunch, everyone get your work gloves out and get ready to get some work done! If you don't want to train, or just want to help out R&R please come out for this time, bring your work clothes and an attitude to do some hard work!

We will be working on a few different areas in preparation for Bitter Water, The Horde, as well as other games into the future. If you like playing at Camp R&R but you thought of some things that would make it better, this is your chance to come out and help make changes and even suggest ideas for changes of your own!

If Sir Stubby Eyre posts an event specifically for the work day only, I will link to it here.

1700: skirmish/ dinner, campfire fun

2300: Taps. Lights out, quiet time.

Sunday:

0800: gear up, instruction begins

1000: chrono closes for skirmish participants

1100: fire team skirmish begins. This would be a great opportunity for small teams up to 6 members to come out and put their skills to the test. More details to come.

1400: endex, pack up and go home.

More details to come.

I should be able to make it on Sunday, with a hand full of the 808th. Work schedules are a bit hazy that far out though. Count on at least a couple of us showing up.

Very good. Try to get a head count for me on your friends so we know who all will be helping with the build and how many to be prepared to serve for lunch.

What is the nature of the build Tim? is this trail clearing kind of stuff or more on the lines of building construction. I am asking in order to determine what kind of tools / equipment to bring, if any?

We are going to add a few more trails, burning all of the trimmings and stuff from the trail clearing. We have one building that needs to be taken down and burned. If we have enough people we can build on the village some. And we have a dock (prop) that needs to be built.

If anyone has some suggestions as to what else we can do I will take them into consideration.
