Tanio Koba/Unicorn Hobby Company VP70

Postby Switchback » Fri Sep 02, 2011 1:53 pm

So, I just got a TK/UHC VP70. Missing a few parts, but seems to function okay.
What do I do with this? My first instinct is to gas the bad boy up with propane and run it around my backyard, but NO! I don't want to screw this up, it seems pretty cool.
So I'm looking for a "how to operate this" guide from people who have used and owned this before...
This tells me how to run it off propane, but I don't know...

Please, help me out here. This thing is cool, but I want it to be more than a safe queen/wallhanger.

Thank you.

You have all the information you need from that link dude. If you really are scared, just use duster and not worry at all.

Seems the internals are pretty sturdy.

Read the review, said propane was fine without upgrades. So I tried propane.
Only thing is, I get one shot at a very low power... Ideas?

Out of curiosity does it come with a TK Twist barrel?

Hey there, I'm the one owning the TK Vp70m in the thread you posted.
You said you got the UHC version?
From what I heard, saw, and shot. Propane is ok on the UHC. But not so much on the TK.
TK, without upgrades on propane is not the greatest idea. Duster all the way.

I had the same idea buying it, thinking maybe I can find parts for the TK, but it would just cost too much. Now its for sale (looking for a buyer) and just sitting in a box.

Good luck and have fun with it!
