The Go-Pro has a polycarb case that is near indestructible. My cousin has crashed his on his mountain bike many times. I recently got a GoPro for Christmas, and will be taking it on the field this weekend at the PSC game. I haven't shot it yet though.
The nice thing is that you can choose the definition. From WVGA @ 60fps up to 1080P @ 30fps. The case is also water proof (I used my cousins for scuba diving down over 100' with no issues. The case has 2 backs, one that has sound holes (and isn't water proof) for use in dry conditions with wind less than 100mph. The solid back is for water tight/high wind environments. Accepts up to a 32gb SD card, and a battery will last about 2.5 hours (spares are available). Rumor has it that they are making an LCD screen backing for it, which would be cool.
