Enduring Horizon information

Postby john boy » Wed Aug 30, 2006 5:16 pm

To All team who are participating in EH,

You need to know the following:

1. Your teams uniform is to be based on United States Armed Forces Cammo Patterns (Standard US Woodland, Woodland US Marpat, Desert US Marpat, US Arpat, 3 Color US Desert).
2. Each team needs to have a GPS and the working Knowledge of using the GPS unit.
3. Each team needs to have a Compass.
4. Each team needs to have one acting Commander.
5. Each team needs to have Commo for direct access to Admin. Command.
6. Each team needs to have a one to two word call sign.
7. Each team needs to have all items need for the days tasks with them when leaving the parking area. There will no returning to vechiles until the day is done. At each mission there will be a drop area for items not needed for that mission. (ie. extra bb's, extra batteries, extra gun, water, food, and ect) Keep in mind that there is minimal room in each transport vechile.
8. A watch.

Any questions? Feel free to leave them in this thread.
Cheers,
5 RAC

Can a team run multiple camo patterns (e.g., some team members in MARPAT and others in woodland)?

What patterns will OPFOR be allowed?

Multiple team cammo is OK if it is based on United States Armed Forces Cammo Patterns (Standard US Woodland, Woodland US Marpat, Desert US Marpat, US Arpat, 3 Color US Desert).

OPFOR can either use European, Russian, non-US Camoflage, or civilian dress.

On the enduring horizon homepage it has descriptions for fps limits. It mentions CQB limits, will one of the scenarios be indoors or was that just a generic fps limit chart that was cut/pasted?

Are sniper rifles above 400 FPS limited to those who have completed the AP sniper safety course?

These are the AP generic limits. We'll drop the CQB off of the list since this is a total out door game.

The sniper limits are set at 550fps for bolt action only.

Understood, but if somebody shows up with a, say, 530 FPS bolt action but has never completed the APST sniper safety course, will you allow them to field that rifle? At AP-sponsored games, that wouldn't be allowed; folks without that training are limited to 400 FPS on their bolt actions.

Not exactly. This was debated but never made into a rule. The limits are 550fps with .20g for all.

I need a one to two word call sign. Form each team by Tuesday morning, I am writing the orders for the Op. If I don't get your call sign by then I will choose them for you. I will not be very kind about it...

I need the call signs from:
WAR
WMD
DRAT
APST

So, sound off.
