the standoff in fort peterson was intense! i had the tower and was totally surronded. however with the 50 gallon drum, wooden crate, and some fine mesh wire i was able to make myself almost untouchable. until someone finally tossed in a grenade. BANG!

can't wait for the next one.

Awwww YOU BASTARD!!!!! I want my 600bb's back!!!!! You were truly a pain in the a$$.....

Until we could get people up close we couldn't figure out how you weren't dead. It looked like you had some plexiglass or something but it was hard to see from 70 feet away. I think I used up over 2000 BB's in that LONG fight to take and secure Ft Peterson. It was indeed a intense battle.

Yes, I am the guy who got it in the eye. I can still see fine, yeah, but it hurts like the dickens still. THe doc says that's normal, and there's no permanent damage to it. My eyelid looks horrid, though.

I blame no one but myself for that hit. I should have checked the goggles myself instead of trusting them without verifying the rating. My own silly fault. No one else's.
Really, if you want to be fair, I deserved that hit for being an idiot in that respect.
Lesson learned.

All in all, I had a pretty good time. Thanks, all.

I'm glad to hear your okay Mithos.

+1 glad to hear no serious injuries.

That was seriously one of the least bullshit games I've been to. I threatened to kill a few whiners, and such on blue, but it worked out. I even got to dance while in a tower in the starlong, that was some fun stuff. I had SO much fun being medic in my BF2 loadout, although I'm casting a vote that medics should at least do sort of routine beyond sticking a bandage on. I was asking about allergies to latex, and family histories of being airsoft causalities, then gave them a shot of 'morphine'.

Props to the guy in ACU near the logging road in the 4th round. You actually won the game for red, because if you didn't hold up my squad and hinder the other, we would've had the starlong camp 20 minutes sooner. Instead I had to flank up that whole cleared hill, which took forever because it was covered in felled trees. I was walking down to shake your hand (because i knew as soon as i lost you I'd never figure out who that was), but then took fire and had to bunker down. (well, kill him..)

Today was weird because I kept seeing people in not MC or marpat and would be like !!!!, and was very hesitant to go out in the open... oh well.

If i could, I'd do it again tomorrow.

Oh, and nice shot to me and our medic, by the way. Never even saw you until it was too late.
And you were my special target, too!

You hit me at 50meters. I was like 0.o

Mithos. I gat'ed alot of peple. I don't even remember shooting you guys.... But if you saw that it was me. Than it was. I was pumped up yesterday, I pushed it to the Max for myself.

Only This morning did I realize how much I had pushed myself.

I Only saw 1 thing that pissed me off. Someone in village in round one, BLIND FIRING WITH A M249. You know who you are.

Zeus, I am not happy with your "Blind firing is okay, as long as it's not in bulidings."

That is going to get someone hurt man. Let's think about this for a moment.

I Am n00b hax0r, I am pinned behind my "Bunker, tree, dirt wall, etc." and I don't have the balls to stick my head out with my gun.
So I blind fire, only to learn that someone was rushing in to safety kill me, and I gat him in the face.

See why I have an issue with that?

Only complaint I had for the day was being lit up in the village (after already being killed, and lit up while dead, both times, calling my hit) by a dude with a death rag on his head. If he forgot to take the sucker off, ok, I can understand it, otherwise, wtf?!?

I did take some footage of the shoot out, but I didn't know that you guys were gonna walk so far apart. I unfortunately missed the moment when Ka-bar and MAX drew their guns. If only I could have positioned myself better. :x I will put the footage together with some other downtime video clips for you guys just to keep ya busy until Matt puts out the REAL video.

Junto, Tyrant... thank you. It was a pleasure working with you, and you guys definitely made the day that much more fun.

What'a frickin' hoot! That was one of mine, and Andy's (Hard Drive), first big game. It was, quite literally, awesome hearing all the firing going on, smelling the acrid stench of smoke, and seeing the intensity and fun everyone was having while playing.

Any time you people need a couple extra hands, let us know.

Sincerely,

Kevin (Book)... M.S.G. RECON.
