Having trouble figuring out how it infects with the backstory. It talks about it being within saliva, blood, oils, sweats, etc. but does it have to get into an "open" wound (bite, scratch, orifice) or just come in contact with skin?

:D So no neat foam swords we found at dollar tree, cut to look like machetes, and that comply with our knife rules (they touch themselves)? :D

Question? I read the rules two or three times, it doesn't mention the time frame you have as a player who gets infected.

If the player gets infected, is there time to kill the actor then pull the vaccination? Or is this an immediate infection?
