ShadowFox is looking at attending, we don't have any for sure's yet but we'll be discussing the matter this weekend during manuevers. I know he location says Rainer CQC sight6 but neither myself or my 1st Sergeant know where that is, what's the general area? Eugene or portland or something like that?

If you're going to go to war against a major enemy, go; knock the hell out of him fast, and go in there to kill him and get it over with.

so, what's the max fps? 330 as usual?

I was wandering if somebody can bring an ECHO1/JG which shoots at 360fps. But in order to adhere with the fps rule, puts heavier BBs like .25 or .28 or .30. I was wandering if that will reduce the fps to 330. I dont have a chrono and the experience of doing that. Anybody knows if .25/.28/.30 will reduce the 360 fps to 330? And also if using .25/.28 is allowed in the event?

Are we gonna do a lot of shooting or more to the tecniques?

Thanks

PS: Btw, what motel/hotel do you recommend around Longview-Kelso?

FPS limit is with .20g bbs and they will chrono you with .20g bbs period. Using a heavier BB will reduce FPS but not force.

To make the idea short, the limits are energy limits, not pure fps. It's easiest to measure energy with a .2g bb and measure the fps.

Your energy cannot be greater than 1j (which equals a .2g bb at 330fps). If you would like to use heavier bbs, you can, but your energy cannot be over 1j.

Admin: You will need to downgrade that replica as there will be live target shooting, i.e. Actors.

Adam (Commie) is correct. We are measuring in joules.

If you are not comfortable with downgrading/opening your replica, there are people in the community that are highly skilled at doing so. Seagreen himself is very skilled and knowledgeable at working on guns. You can contact him via PM.

Ok, we have enough of us going now that we would like to register as Marine Raiders. Here's the list:
Omega
April (Hellcat)
Tommyboy
Chewie
New York
Modern Crusader
Warhawk
Gungho
Rebel
Amity Kidd

That is a list of 10. April and I are already in, so we are simply adding 8 more. Donke

Due to the tentativeness of these operators:
-Christo (T6)
-Chris Edward (T6)
I'll make some room for others who really serious in participating. You may drop the operators above from the list.

Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I suggest, this event should be fully documented in video format. Then burn it into CD/DVD to be used as review purpose by participants. Participants can pay some money for the DVD + shipping. I think video is an essential and great learning tool to spot our mistakes.

Thanks.
