Yes he is a great person to have on the team.

Thanks to all it was a great day of training. Mack and myself talked about and went over everything we did and did not do for the 3 hour drive home. I look forward to the next one, I know that I will be there along with more of the team.

Hopefully this triple posting wont happen to me, but I had a great time even though I got shot pretty near the eye by the OPFOR during the MOUT course. Next time please don't stand so near the breach point spraying the head area, I'm sure other people would appreciate that as well. I am still waiting for an apology by the way, I'll even show you the damage you cause and its gotten worse since then:

So all I want is an apology and hard feelings.

Anyhoo, the event was very instructive and the LE and MOUT meshed in pretty good, lots of material to review and practice. Looks like I'll be clearing the rooms of my house. Awesome, and Mithril will be sure to show up on time for the next BSP event ;)
P.S. You guys should have a practical pistol class.

Ummm how did that happen? Doesn't it say to wear full seal eye protection? I take it from the pic you were not wearing those goggles when it happened, correct?

If you're going to go to war against a major enemy, go; knock the hell out of him fast, and go in there to kill him and get it over with.

I was wearing the goggles during the MOUT course. He sprayed my head and a BB was able go past the seal and hit near my eye.

Not really past, so much as THROUGH. Thats the power of a borderline rifle from less then 3 feet away. Totally un-acceptable and unsafe. Not BSP's fault, but I would hope any active member of the community would know that such behavior is grossly inappropriate.

Meanwhile back at the farm. Awesome event guys, I'm glad my own team members and several BSP members talked me into going. Dont think I'll ever be able to be around Troy or Bill and not have my hand on my pistol ever again.

Learned so much I just need to let it all soak in over a nice...long...nap...Zzzzzz...

A detailed AAR is in the works, but it takes time to get it all down and I'm going to be super-busy for the next few days.

What I can say right now is that this training event reminded me of all the reasons I love airsoft. I could've taken a similarly in-depth real-steel course at quarter-speed, with no opfor, for ten times the price. The quality and breadth of the information provided was outfuckingstanding, and today was easily the best training day I've ever had, ever.

There are only two regrets I'm left with: that the training didn't go on all night (why are people leaving?! I want some more!), and that more than half of our team was not able to attend for various reasons. They missed out on a great thing.

I have gained a lot of respect for all our trainers, they have each proven themselves to be incredible resources that were ready and willing to impart their knowledge. Sign me up for every single event you guys plan to put on. Whatever it takes, I'll be there.

Well, uh... Yes, that will happen.

Thank you all for the kinds words.

Each instructor did an outstanding job. I was very pleased with the level of professionalism on the participant end. Everyone was 100% committed to learning and it established the proper atmosphere to really take in what each instructor had to offer.

Yes, this was the first run and it will only improve and become more polished.

Yes, the pictures will be up today sometime.

Yes, there will be a pistol course.

Yes, there will be CQC in early 2008.

ARE YOU READY!?

I had a great time making you guys look cool. :D

I think every one ended up in at least one photo. If not, blame Morgan, he replaced you by being in like 392 of the 396 or so photos... lol

Coming in the room when Postman wasn't quite ready yet. I think we scared the hell out of him, he jumped.

I am glad that I went to this. :D

Besides being the best CQC learning experience I have ever have it was amazingly fun I was disappointed at the end when it was over.

Remember, when the instructor asks if you are tired, the correct answer is not "no".

Great event guys, I enjoyed it, and while I didn't necessarily learn a lot of new information, a lot of polishing was done on my existing knowledge.

We will ramp up the training if the community is wanting it.

I would like to get one more of these done prior to the next CQC competition.

If you have any suggestions for future events head to the BSP Tactical Training forum and we'll see what we can get done to better meet your expectations for training events.

I loved what I saw. This is only the first of many similar events.
