I had a great time today. Big thanks to Alex for organizing this event again and to all the sponsors!

That being said, I had to tell no less than three different people to put on their eye protection during the game! I understand that your glasses fog up and make it hard to play, but there's no excuse for not having them on. Seriously. This is important.

This is Oregon, it's wet here. Deal with it. Go buy some mesh or fan-exhausted goggles if anti-fog treatments don't do the job. Don't jeopardize your eyesight because you're stingy, lazy, lazy or just plain irresponsible.

Also, viva Santa!

Santa's army won in capture the flag and in the spawn game. Although they were fighting an uphill battle, they nearly had twice the numbers of the Grinchistanis.

Had a great time despite the cold, rain, mud, and more cold. Also, that L85 was a nice touch...hehe. This thing is sexy. Thanks!

Im not one for calling people out but the CTF was faulty. Or flag was connected to a claymore. We watched Santas team get hit and run off with the flag. But what can you do all is over. Great game.

Someone said that one of the Santa teams who got the flag triggered the claymore near the flag and kept running. Oh well, they would have gotten it eventually. For my first real game I had great time.

I was with the Santa group who grabbed the flag. I do not know the name of the individual who grabbed the flag. My attention was elsewhere, but I did not see or hear a claymore go off. He took more than a couple seconds to move to and from the flag- maybe he disabled it? Regardless, I would hope that all players would have enough honor to recognize mine kills.

There were at least six Elves at the flag itself. Based on the lack of resistance we encountered, I feel confident that it would have been returned regardless.

Besides my gun going down at the end of the game and the massive amounts of fallen trees, I gotta say that was an awesome game. Christmas is saved yet again.

i won a manual hand powered gas blowback pistol!(1$ springer) and i will treasure it for always! no but really it was a good game, knuckles makes a great santa, it was great to see so many people show with toys in tow, the weather was cold and wet, there was ice on the ground in places, there was a massive puddle to wade through, the terrain in general was hell (i got a stick to the balls @ one point.) and id do it again in a heart beat!

I had a good time. It was interesting how if you veered off the main path you suddenly found your biggest enemy at your feet, instead of someone with a gun.

While walking off the path you have to be really careful to step on something solid, or you might just find yourself waist high in what you thought was previously ground. :)

Despite all that, I'm really glad we were able to make a difference for the kids. I also appreciate all the hard work the admins put in to making this event possible. Thanks.
