well its really up to you on which style of gun you like best. Both of the guns are the same internal wise except the M16 is pushing a M130 spring instead of a M120 like the M4. M16 has about 20-30 fps more then the M4, but the M4 has about 3-4 bbs a second more then the M16. Both are really good guns... but I would go with the M4 personally. But like I said, its really up to which style you like best.

The M16 is going to have more range and accuracy. The M4 will be easier to maneuver with and be more lightweight.

Past that, you're not going to notice a lot of difference, and it's all up to preference.

the reason why for no choosing the m4 is because i would of gotten a crane stock with my silencer and that would be the same length as the m16 which is 39 inches but could a m4 inner barrel have as much range as a m16

You could extend the barrel through the suppressor.

Generally, no.

An M4 length barrel is 363mm long.
An M16 length barrel is 509mm long.

The longer barrel is going to give you more range and accuracy, but if you want that out of an M4, you can run a 509mm inner barrel through a suppressor to get the same result, although, this means you have to go out and buy the parts instead of just getting the M16 with the longer barrel at no extra cost, but that's your decision based on what you want your AEG to look like.

So if i got a M16 it would be overall better then the M4 in the long run? i was planning on a M4 but i want range and accuracy. So ill get the M16. Dees custom tightbore(site?) and a silencer.

Talk to Riddick about the DBC barrel. And while your at it, you should swap in a warrior tech H-hop and nub, which are not expensive and are very impressive.

There is currently a huge waiting list for dees barrels in particular lengths. I am not sure at the moment if it will even be something that will be re-stocked again. The distributor seems to not know the status of a re-supply.

Yes, to answer the question, an M4 with a 509 will be just as accurate as an M16 with a 509. That being said, if you're gonna go with a 509 barrel, it looks better and is less expensive in the M16.
