Nice work on the .pdf Alex (and anybody else who did work).
I really hope I can get some friends together to do this.

This is going to be the event of the 2000 - 2009 era.

Bob Costas already called it on ESPN8, "the Ocho".

I MUST play, this looks absolutely amazing. I don't exactly have a team though, so if there are any other people around my age group that would like to form up a group of mismatched adventurers, you should definitely PM me and we can figure out the specifics. Or also, if anyone has an extra slot in their group and wouldn't mind if I tagged along with you, let me know. Either way works.

I was wondering about automatic pistols like the m93r and the glock 18, will they be allowed?

and double barrel gas shotguns?

edit: and how about pineapple grenades?

;) Flyerfye, if you want to sing . . . . . . um . . . . I won't stop you?

Using standard magazines, yes. No extended magazines. The basic rule of thumb is, if the magazine protrudes noticeably from the grip, that's a no-go. Now, if you want to flip your weapon into burst fire - I really don't see a problem with that. Odds are you'll miss and run out of ammo faster.

lordyeti wrote:and double barrel gas shotguns?
That's not a pistol!

lordyeti wrote:edit: and how about pineapple grenades?
No user-provided grenades.

The premise of the game is, you're a friend of Professor Manicotti. You've flown half way around the world to come visit your friend, and discover that he's been kidnapped. You're not a mercenary of doom who comes prepared with grenades, machine guns, and automatic carbines - you're an explorer and adventurer who has to scrounge around for things once you're in country. Think Indiana Jones, or Tintin.

We'll be providing all the 'heavy weapons'. We'll be providing the grenades.

There is nothing wrong with your computer. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling your internets. We have hacked your megahertz. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image, make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the duration of the game, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. We repeat, there is nothing wrong with your computer. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to... The Infamous Manicotti Incident.

I'm too far away, starting a new job which has their busy season during the summer, and very likely won't be able to make BUT THIS OP STILL GIVES ME A RAGING WOODY!!!

I shall offer up animal sacrifices to the mormon Gods that they may allow me to attend.
