So if I just sprint to my objective, spray everything that moves with 20 midcap UZI mags then sprint back and get 25 minutes and win against the sneaky bastard with the knife?

Chances of you being able to accomplish this are VERY small. There will also be some suprises that will be geared toward preventing just that.

Also remember, you will be facing the same guards as the other 3 people in your group, so by killing all the guards, you open it up for the others to rush in too.

Will there be a penalty for being spotted and getting in a firefight?

will there be a penalty if you take down a guard without being spotted?

Does anything affect point totals other than time remaining and method used to take out the target?

What happens if one of the other participants takes out your target?

No penalty for being spotted. Just avoid being shot.

If another contestent takes out your target, they will be disqualified. And you will be able to run the event again.

The targets will be seperated enough that stray shots from other competators won't hit them. I'm also thinking of making each target wear a different camo pattern (or solid color), so as to allow easier ID.

That will be determined at a later date, and not announced to the contenders either way.

Few more questions:

Grenades?

Do guards respawn or are they dead when they get hit?

Armor rules in effect for guards, targets or players?

Is it strictly assassination or is there a bonus for extracting the target?

I think he is still tweaking with some of the rules. So I doubt all your questions will be answered.

Well that is part of the reason I am asking cause sometimes things get overlooks, and its better to bring it up now than having to figure it out on the fly come game day.

#'s 1 and 2 are still being decided.

Strictly assassination. If you want a back story, here is a quick one: You are a CIA operative, you have been given a target to eliminate. The method is up to you. You can make a statement, or be quiet about it. There are an unknown number of guards in the area, with the possiblity of a full platoon in reserve. You are to meet with your contact where you will be briefed on terrain, given the latest intel on activities of the target, and will recieve ID information on said target. Because of the possibility of death or capture, you will not be allowed to take the information given to you into the field. That would jepordize our sources. You will then be droped off via vehicle to start your mission.

Edit: I appreciate you bringing these things up. I can honestly say I hadn't thought about grenade rules. THis is why I posted this so far out, so that the players can ask all the questions they have, and allow me to better shape the game for them.

No armor. To hard to enforce in this kind of competition. That would require an admin to follow people around, and that would get rid of the sneakyness of the competition (even though the actors would be told not to clue in on the admin, they would do it anyways).

Jester what are the rules for smoke grenades? Also can you use "less than lethal" on them (simulated of course).
My sword runs at 450 FPS, try to out run that! 35+ Sword/Knife Kills and counting.
