My belief is "Yes", based off the fact that a PMC team asked for permission to use their POV in play. I intend to use my POV in play, as it's kind of a big a$$ field.

However, as a participant, I would want to see pictures/demonstrations of this "tank buster" before I was comfortable with it, even if it is approved by the event host.

Note: I am not the event host, nor can I speak for the event host. I am merely interpreting what I have seen discussed in the thread.

I haven't seen any clarification from Craig on the rules for vehicles. I suspect that they'll be treated as whatever they are, e.g. if you're driving an unarmored jeep and start taking fire, you're dead if you get hit.

I know that the Begret rules for enclosed cabins are that if the hits would obviously kill the occupants (e.g. multiple impacts to the driver's portion of the windshield), the driver stops the vehicle and sets off the appropriate pyrotechnics to let you know the vehicle has been hit. I'm more than happy to rig up an angry little smoke that I can set off at will.

Uparmored vehicles and tanks, of course, play by a different set of rules, but unless someone is willing to fabricate a shell for my truck...

the angry smoke bomb thing sounds like a good idea, and i will post pics if i can get it done.
