I need a backup ride as the current driver doesn't know if he will have space. I will be in portland area and can meet up with you in downtown or almost anywhere east of downtown. Will throw down some gas money.

Get a battery charger that can alternate to run off your car battery. It's a slower charge time, but it'll get you back in play in about an hour at the most.
