Worst high end AEG you've owned?

I've never had a bad AEG.


Well, I did have this TM that ended up locking the gearbox just about every game. It had a lot of aftermarket parts in it, so it may have been my fault...

Well there was this Crosman.....

Aftermath M4. Great if you were gentle on it, but other than that, piece of crap. Thankfully Big 5 gave me all my money back when it crapped out.

Well let's make it over $180 then. aftermath will never be anywhere close to a high end line.

My worst high end gun was a CA M4. Thing would not stay as consistent as I wanted, always jumped around from 10 fps below to 10fps above where I wanted it. No real reason.

They sell Aftermath m4s for 210 at our Big 5 last time I checked.

If we are counting 150, I'd say M4A1 because it crapped out on me in the middle of battle. And never got it fix, so now it'll be used as spare parts for my new M4.

CA G36c. I've had that thing operated on more times than Joan Rivers' face.

I've had the wiring replaced at least twice, two or three new sets of gears after the other ones failed, one re-spring, 2 new barrels, and then the front end straight up broke last winter and there are no compatible replacement parts for it.

It wasn't that bad but I must say I was quite disappointed in my CA M14 I had not too long ago. Semi-auto was very unreliable(which I preferred to use), mags wobbled a lot in the magwell, and midcaps were hard to find and anything close to real-caps impossible to find.
One mag one kill.

High End is 250 or more.

I cant really say i had a bad High end as i only had 1 high end

A&K m60.... Had it for a week and it crapped out after about 4k rounds... However, it is the only thing I've owned that was worth over $150 (stock)... Returned it to my local store in exchange for a G36E conversion kit, and a bunch of upgrades...

My KWA M16. I know I'm probably going to get bashed for that, but it was the only high end gun I had that gave me horrible problems before I even touched the GB or used it in a game....

bleeding kids. There was a time when Classic Army SAWs were damn close to $1000 new. My first CA G36 was $450+. Now they're what, $250? Shit.

On topic: CA SR25. Paid nearly $500 for the goddamn thing. Fired not 50 rounds through the thing and it made a sound that would make Satan himself cry tears of sorrow. When I opened the gearbox, Classic Army had improperly installed two of the 7mm bearings. All of the bearings had exploded, all of the gears except the pinion gear were stripped, the piston was stripped, the tappet plate was damaged. The whole thing was upsidedown out of the box. Cost me nearly $300 in parts to upgrade/repair everything.

My freind's ICS m4 has stripped 4+ pistons... And most of the GB screws were stripped (pain in the a$$ for him to find proper sized new ones)... Not really mine- but still on topic(ish)

I didn't think their bodies were that great. Honestly I thought the texture and color was kind of odd. I would much prefer a flat black 50 dollar metal body kit. It's not like I'm abusing my gun, so it really doesn't matter that much.

Sun Project M40.

Flat out impossible to find parts for and utterly useless in stock form.

But God was that thing nice on the eyes. Sun Project really did make the very best externals.
