Hell we flat smoked some of last years "Top Ten" teams then and this year.

I already demand a recount...Did I move to Florida, does Chuck from SOTA's brother Govern Oregon?

I know I sound cocky and that doesn't fit into the sportmanship portion of this catergory's criteria but I must stand up for my team. We have been from Belfair to the coast of Oregon south of Salem and have been victorious or absolutely essential to victory at every game. I have spent countless hours on the field trying to straighten out new players for the good of the sport at the cost of my personal gaming time. We honor the game above victory and will not step out of the ruleset to win, unlike many many others we have fought against.

I couldn't care less about best game, post whores and all that but for my team not to get the recognition we have earned would be a travesty. Anyone who shoots with us often would have to agree that we deserve #1...or we can take the damn trophy from whoever sucked their way into the top spot.

So this open challenge goes out to every team who actually makes the top ten... Earn your spot by defeating us. I don't care if your team outnumbers us two to one we'll go.

Recent Victories this year and last where TT was victorius or absolutely essential to victory:
Total War 9
Junk Yard wars 5
Faction Wars 1
Faction Wars 2.1
Steel Talon..remember this 5 to 1 victory?
Every skirm we have attended at Scap or ABT
Colonel Archer Down...

Best Player: I would also like to say that I would put our team leader Wake.Joe against anyone who walks on the airsoft field..he is that good and I would bet that he would win more than he loses.

Most improved player: I do have a vote for best improved player and that vote goes to Octose. I have seen this kid evolve into what this sport needs more of, young players with heart AND selfless honor. Octose when you think the time is right pm me here we have a spot for you. You have honor...we will teach you to swim

Best Field: T1T, just in case we would have lost this by one vote...

Was the speech necessary? You took more space to vote on four things than two people combined take to answer the whole thing.

Yes, I felt it was very much nessecary as we have been denied a spot in the top ten even though we have beaten those who won. We get overlooked because we do not try to make everyone happy. We usually do not hang out after the games as we usually leave every ounce of energy on the field and have no desire to advance our popularity through social events.

My challenge stands. Not only do I wish to take the winner head on I also wish to take every team that makes the list head on. I will receive few takers, as usual.

I am not trying to take anything away from SOTA, who will win, because I like Ash, Chuck(hell Chuck used to be TT, and once TT always TT) and Jesse just fine and they are great to shoot with. Very nice guys, excellent weapons and extremely well dressed targets....but I have on two occasions taken out the entirety of SOTA by myself. Performance, stamina, aggression, skill and drive should count for something.

Let us see who the better airsoft team is on the field, no politics just performance.

this tells me 2 things....

1) SOTA has risen up as a team so that anyone that kills them in an AIRSOFT GAME remembers it for the rest of their life... Congrats.

Here is your new motto:

SOTA: Kill us and you are fuckin famous!

2)Head to head challenges must decide who is a better team. 2 teams enter, 1 team leaves... Break a deal, face the wheel!

PS. I remember killing all of SOTA at Project Neph 3 with a knife. I plan to get that epic battle inked on my back, right under the last supper...

Indeed. Best Team does not mean "Team that wins the most". DRAT was best of 07 and we've won a whole 2 games where we were being graded. Best Team should be more in line with sportsmanship, personal conduct of all teammates, etc.

On a side note. Steve. No one has taken away from you or your team's skills. I have personally watched you tear down droves of people with your magic pistol shooting! I also do recognize that when you and your boys are present we will have a great challenge in store for us. SOTA never comes to a game "expecting" to win. SOTA does expect its members to do their best. However, I do expect my team to take a loss and learn from it and to improve.

What is important to me is that others around me are having fun. Even if that means grabbing new people and taking them right into a S$#T storm then so be it.

Best Team: PLA

Sure they are loud and full of short people (juice, mini) and dirty people (Dan), but I can't think of another team that has gone from being a small inside joke, to being the biggest one around. All while improving the players on the field. They have hosted numerous events to teach new players basic skills tht will help them send their plastic death, and have said death be more effective.

IMHO helping the sport advance as a whole > winning events.
