so the src is pretty good then? At one of the local airsoft shops where i live one of the workers said it was "a piece of sh*t". Honestly, i 'd rather get the src than the vfc though cuz its like $150 cheaper unless its really a piece of junk. I really wanna stay away from all the clones so ive been considering the src. found it at trinity for about $300. look any good?

VFC has the best 416.
WE recently released a GBB 416, only $280 at redwolf, but all sold out in 2 days.

I have heard & seen gas leaks on the GBB's magazine.
I suggest just to buy an AEG 416 for now.

I own the SRC, I do say that it is not a piece of shit at all. Very solid construction, so solid that if you try to disassemble it you have to be very careful.

It has the tab design in a metal body, which is a big design flaw, but if you can get a hold on a grinder you can do away with the left tab and be safe.

The left tab is the main one to worry about because it will rake the selector plate and possibly the cut-off lever spring.

If that doesn't scare you, or you know someone who'll do it for you, ahem, then it shouldn't be but a slight hindrance.
