Alternative sources for camo

Echo and I have been debating patterns to use for the team concept we're working on, and unfortunately, after eliminating everything American but MARPAT and ABU, and everything on Flecktarn.co.uk save Flecktarn itself, I'm at a loss for places to shop for camo.

Any suggestions on overseas sources for real patterns, not this "fashion camo" crap you see at a lot of "surplus" stores? It needs to be a website we can shop from.

Why start with a UK website when you're tight on funds?

If you're poor, and want something that works, Woodland BDU's.

If you want something that's timeless, and also cheap: Olive Drab.

If you want the "Best" camouflage for the area, that's still affordable, get flecktarn or marpat.

In any case, does it hurt anyone to ask? Does it cause you any pain? I'm just looking for other sources of camo. We have our own criteria.

You know, its funny you should mention Google. I've heard people talking about it for the last 10 years. That's why it was the FIRST PLACE I LOOKED. You know how many hits you get on the terms "buy camouflage"? About 3.4 million.

All I wanted was to know if there were any alternative sources that people buy camo from, other than my usual sources. Somewhere I might not have heard of before. I thought I had made that pretty clear.

I'm getting sick of asking a simple question, and people throwing backhanded commentary my way. Seriously.

If I wanted to ask the question: "Hey, what pattern should my team wear?" by gods, I would have asked. But I DIDN'T ask that question. All I asked for was other places to buy from, to get a sense for whats out there. This could have been a simple thread that was over in three posts, but so far, all I've got is internet dickwads trying to prove just how a big jackass they can be.

This is a community forum. Someone asks a question, the question gets answered. If I wanted sarcastic idiocy, I'd hang out with the stoners at my bleeding school. Clear?

I've been on the hunt myself but havent really found a good web source. I just prefer to go to some army surplus store and get my own so I can actually go see the camo live and all that jazz

Flecktarn is really nice. I have its Desert Counterpart.

Oh here you go Its from Germany, they got evreything from some cheaper stuff to the real deal BDU's.

I would suggest a local surplus shop (if that is plausible). If your talking the internets, then:
http://www.hessenantique.com/Bundeswehr ... _s/635.htm if your leaning towards Flecktarn (I use it myself, it is highly effective in my experience). You can also get Tac Vests in Flecktarn on this sight. It's based in Georgia and it's legit.
If you want something else (such as MARPAT/ABU), I trust this site:

I would recommend either forest MARPAT or actually, most every primarily green camouflage, like woodland, tiger stripe, or Multicam.
I don't like buying overseas, but I think ebaybanned.com had some Multicam for sale.

I have always liked the Swedish M/90 pattern. You can get a lot of non-us camo here.

It's a bit more expensive (like a difference of a few dollars depending on retailer/style/manufacturer), but I have also been a fan of the Russian Tiger Stripe pattern (better known as Russian Schofield, Reed Pattern, or Kamysh). It's used by the Spetsnaz and the OMOH, only the OMOH uses a slightly more Urban scheme of Blues, Blacks, and Greys. Here is a link:

On this sight you'll also find the Russian version of Flecktarn (with the original name of Flecktarn-D), Shadow/Тень/Ten (Urban Tiger Stripe, if you like playing in a warehouse), Berezka (Russian Digital), M1 City Pattern, the amazingly original Forest Pattern, and the only Desert camo in use by the Russian Ground Forces, Smog. Yes, Smog. I would suggest Flecktarn-D, Russian Tiger Stripe, or, if your into that funky-looking digital camo, the Russian Digital fits that description. If you haven't noticed, I like Russian camo. RedSoldier.com is a Texas based company, and they are legit.
P.S: The BDUs being sold on this sight are the Summer versions of the camo. This might not sound like a big deal, but they are made of durable, but not really thick, nylon/polymer. If you want some extra protection, I would suggest wearing jeans/heavy shirt, and during the winter, switch to some winter camo or wear a heavy coat+some thinner snow pants or winter liner. But, if your a Spetsnaz, this shouldn't matter. If you want something like multicam and want to save money, go for the reproduction multicam.
EDIT: The new SPLAV BDU is made of cotton twill, rather than the polymer/cotton mix.
