I was planning on running with an OD Plate Carrier, atop of my ACU's...is this okay?

Solid black will most likely be Axis. I know that a team from down south of Eugene is on our side and usually wears all black.

I'm not an event organizer, but you should be fine. I think Dan's point was that if you're predominately green (as someone wearing an OD softshell would be), then there is likely to be confusion. And probably yelling. Mostly confusion.

So I'm having problems getting a ride out to the game tomorrow. If there is anyone who has some extra space for one more, please PM me. I'm in SE Portland off of Powell. I can help with Gas if need be.

EDIT: Problem solved. Hooray for communication. :D

I had fun. This one wasn't my favorite out of the series but it was still a good OP. I liked the field. There are so many possibilities with this one and I think that some really great games will be held there in the future.

My favorite part was seeing Bad Karma's reaction after he found out that the Enemies CP was just a few hundred yards away from where we grouped up for our stealth attack. We walked through a bleeding river several times and spent hours avoiding the enemy. I died before we got to the CP though. :(

Good times guys. Next time I'm bringing a mother bleeding boat so I can move down the river. :D

yes, that sneak on the goat CP was epic. we blew up their base, then upsidedown them in the goat a$$. Too bad you missed out Wes.

SF FTW...

at least you missed 2 more river crossings...

my favorite thing about this field. the half hour drive home ;).

I had a good time. This field will be alot more fun in the summer. Big fires and parties. then some shoot em up.

Thanks Bill, and crew.

Had a great time at this game. Good job BSP, you guys put on a great game (no surprise). Met a lot of new people and had fun sneaking around the field for most the day.

Good game. It was wet and tiring, and I didn't plan for the camping *at all* but it was good to come out.

I feel like I missed out on the game, though, being stuck in the Axis HQ as commander. Walking back after the game I saw the fortifications Junto and Eurodus had at the Cross roads and the field and kinda wish I was out there.

We started the game off late so they had already secured our commo array area, the bridge, the river, the cross roads, the city and the North Fort before we knew what was going on, but we recovered and even got close to taking the city mid-way. With the water like it was, it was hard for us to get across to get to the commo array, and we were without mortars for the first half of the game.

About 2/3rds through the game a lot of the guys left either due to hunger, weakness, injury, weapon malfunction or other time issues, and we just lost the will to win.

After that, we let down our guard and just tried to hold on to our front line, allowing the enemy to send small groups to harrass us from the rear. I survived two near deaths at the command post.

Good points:

organized pre-game start up, chrono, and getting the game started relatively on time

Good ability to adapt to in-game realities, such as moving around CCP's and layout of the game to make it better.

Improve points:

Confirm with both commanders that the game is about to start and make sure they know it

Give 10 strips of tape to each commander to let them assign their own engineers and demolitions
allow alcohol at the camping

Having objectives that are right on the spawn point (such as me being a target, but controlling the spawn point too) made it difficult

Let the commander move out of the HQ.

On the map, the distance seemed the same from our spawn to the cross roads or city, as their spawn, but it wasn't. We had to respawn up a giant hill and they could run across a grove of trees. We held the trenches a few times and eventually got pushed out as they were respawning 20 seconds later.
