I tried a 9.6v... and I'm hooked. However...

... I'm not sure my gun will like a 9.6V after all the use I've put through it.

Its a sportline CA M15A4 carbine, about 14 months old. Its had probably 35k rounds through it. I know the faster a gun fires, the faster it will burn out. At this point, would it be wise to put a 9.6V into my gun?

There is sooo much I could say here " Being a LiPo user here " But you will be fine using a 9.6 . Don't worry about it Sportline is a good gun . 8)

Might want to put in metal bushings and spring guide if it doesn't have them. Check the shim job too. Other than that, it should be fine.

If you are not super heavy on the trigger then the impact should be marginal...?

I always keep a few around, I tend to forget that most people don't do such. :D

The Modify pistons are a pretty good choice.

Yeah, I fire in bursts mostly. Sometimes its fun to let loose with a hail of BBs though, and the extra ROF would make that even better.

I approve. I recently came into posession of an extra gearbox myself, courtesy of a friend. Quite useful indeed it is to have those extra parts.

You should be just fine. I have a CA Sportline M4, and I have been running an 11.1v lipo for nearly 8 months now with no issue. Your mileage may vary.

9.6v batteries are what us Lipo users call "sissy batteries". :lol:
