Hmmm, lets see no safety gear on any of the people (eyepro and the like), if I hadn't played there, I wouldn't want to play there now.

Note that they weren't actually firing and were just making a movie-style trailer. I'd hardly call that a fair reflection of the facilities standards. That's the most irrational way to react to an action short.

AP did the same thing when CAGE was open.

To be honest, I still don't agree with it. And I don't agree with the Project Nephilium one either because of the same reason. Whats the first rule of gun safety "Treat every gun as if it's loaded" What if in either trailer someone had accidently left a bb in there and tripped and fell, someone could have been injured and the Cage could have closed down that much earlier, or even TAC TAC could have the same problem.

There are certain things that are sacrificed for movie making to get the best look you can for your footage.. Playing airsoft, eyepro eyepro eyepro. Making a movie is a whole different bag of flour. I'm not going to argue past this post.

Way to make a neat thread a$$ retarded. I'm sure they took the batteries out of the guns and have enough common sense to do it right. Treat every weapon as if it's loaded unless it's scientifically impossible for it to launch a projectile. Common sense over fear. Responsibility over alarmism.

I missed that one in my smith and wesson manual. You oughta make your own gun safety videos.

There's no reason to flip a phony pony over this, it's a promotional video. Not a freaking airsoft game.

Seriously, briefings are held for a damn reason. I've been to so many Splat Action games I've lost count, yet I'm at every single one of the briefings.

With how stupid that kid i, and including the fact that it's a real firearm, death is more likely to happen than unlikely. If you don't put a battery in your AEG, there is no force on earth that can send a BB rocketing into someone's eye, regardless of whether the mag is full, the safety is off, or whatever.

And why's it a bad thing to always treat a gun like it's loaded even if it's not?

I know it's not going to shoot anyone, you know it's not going to shoot anyone, but it's when you let your guard down and let yourself shazaam around. That's when Goofball gets shot in the eye... at GS2.

Yup. I was there and watched it happen five feet away from me. I was the one who basically forced him to go to the hospital. He didn't want to go and his eye was half way filled up with blood. Finally we got a medic to take him to the hospital.

Again, this was a movie not an airsoft game. Most of the guns were MP5 springers and nothing was loaded or had any batteries. It's a movie trailer for a movie were are planning on making. Nothing else. Sorry it didn't live up to everyones expectations. I thought it was pretty cool and was really excited about sharing it with the airsoft community.

Per everything else, again I'm sorry that some people are so mad at us. Not sure what I can do other than say we try to get better and I will take the comments here and try to address them the best I can. Not much else we can do. I can't sit here all day and argue on the internet. Anything I write will just further the argument and you know what they say about arguing on the internet and it's relativity to the Special Olympics. . .

Hope you like the video.

All things aside, the video looks good. Definitely has some promise!

Although, for props sake, panzer, an AEG without a battery is like an M16 without a bolt. It's just not going to fire, ya know?
