G&P Crane Stock Battery in a KWA Crane Stock?

Postby LoneWolf808 » Mon Apr 12, 2010 9:59 pm

I am sick and tired of my Intellect 9.6 Nunchuck Battery dieing in the middle of the day, and am planing to buy another battery.

This is my question,

Will this Crane Stock Battery:http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?cPath=31_169&products_id=28975

Fit in a KWA Crane Stock? Has anyone tried it?

I know there are other options out there, but those would require me to modify my crane stock, mainly, sanding the inside of the stock so the larger 10.6 large cells battery will fit,

I really want to avoid modifying the stock.

and If anyone can come up with a better idea, im open to others as well.

http://cheapbatterypacks.com/index.asp? ... sid=262863

Whoops, didn't realize it wouldn't put the pack up there...

Cell Count: 8
Cells: Elite 2/3A 1500mah (red ones, $3.00 each)
Style: Nunchuck
Wiring: 16ga
Connector: Female Deans

If your gun uses something else, make sure you get the right connector. You linked to a battery with deans connectors, so I figured you needed deans.

G&P battery cannot fit, the size of the cell is like a AA size battery, plus it has dean connector.
cheapbatterypacks.com is a good place to buy from, cheaper than most airsoft shops.

Shit thats what i forgot, if i were to buy a battery with deans im willing to convert them to small type tamia (not sure if i spelled that right)

So the G&P Will not fit with out modification? Then modifing the stock is the only way to go then huh?

Or buy a G&P buttstock & mod the connector(on the gun) to dean, and use G&P battery, but you are looking at $100 plus price tag :(

Or you can buy a battery off of cheapbatterypacks.com that is exactly what you need so you don't have to modify anything...

And it will be a lot cheaper then most batteries from airsoft retailers.

Don't buy a G&P Crane battery. They have a history of overheating and melting.

Go with this one:

Plus, the plug is in the right spot to plug into your KWA.
