The groups up north have grown and they have teeth. We are ready when you guys are. Team Terror, PRAT, Hellcats, 1st Sword, Praetorian Guard, Devil Dawgs and Team Cerebus (same mother group I think?), TCJ's, Battlesim, isn't TF Delta up here too? There are so many more that I have met but I just can't access the info in my aging brain pan, no disrespect intended if I left you out, I rode the little bus to school, be forgiving.
I've been shooting around here for about 5 years, more if you count the non public games we had before we found AP, been to both ends of both states for over 170 games (varying in size from 4 players to whatever the biggest one at Splat was) and I truely believe our toughest competition is always found up north.
Except Junk Yard Wars 5 that shit was easy-peasy. There were even two dudes dressed up as anime characters there. It was 105 with no wind and these guys wrapped themselves in black from head to toe... they didnt last too long. But as ususal I digress...
Both states have some incredible players, even a couple I would consider being able to run at a true operator level (I do not include myself in that statement, but I'm no easy win either

) but the cohesion goes to the teams in the north, per player per team you have a higher level of control and cooperation. A lot of new teams and alot of younger players in Oregon.
The south has the numbers the north has the aggression. Let's limit the sides to one hundred each. I bet I could pull one hundred of the most rag tag guerilla war fighters you have ever seen. Matt or Gunny could pull one hundred of the most finely dressed targets who could spout you every caliber known to man but who have never fired a weapon in anger-----poking the bear, poke poke poke

--------
So yes I would bet on the North to win but I also think it would be one hell of a fun game. Anyone can beat anyone on any given day and MR Murphy has way of ass-raping even the best players, so who knows how it would really go?
Only one way I know of to find out
