Star PMAGs in a KWA

Postby Jebus! » Fri May 21, 2010 7:19 pm

I have a KWA M16. I am considering purchasing http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=4543
those Star PMAgs, but I have two questions.
1) Will those even work in a KWA Magwell?
2) Are they good, reliable, magazines or am I better off getting something else?

Thanks.

I tried one of Android STAR PMags in my KWA, and it worked just fine.

I don't know if this means they will all work, but that specific one I tried had no issues at all.

Star PMags work pretty well. Realize they are more "standard" capacity as opposed to midcaps.

They sometimes have issues with the nub holding the bbs in being too long. I had to file them down to make them work in my G&P. Otherwise, no problems

android uses the real pts mags, not star. Just so you know.

There are two issues here.

STAR magazines vary in precision from batch to batch. This can cause one set of green label mags (new or older) to fit and feed well in certain guns, while another batch is slightly different.

Additionally, some KWA guns can vary, especially if you have one before the new bodies were released.
