In a nutshell . . . . . yes.

it isnt a conventional airsoft event. Think of it as a computer game, ported into the real-life first person shooter/role playing game operating system, then add 3 quarters of a cup of 'worth it', along with half a stick of butter and a cup of sugar before being baked at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

Basically you will experience this:
You and your group will show up on game day, check in with registration.
Then you will begin your Indiana Jones Style adventure. You will meet the good doctor, whom sent for you and He will set you off within the town to gather clues, raise money and find what happened to his friend!

Short answer: yes. But that's not a bad thing. :D

Having played in the 1st Manicotti game, I loved it so much it got me hooked on Airsoft. It's definitely a change of pace from your traditional modern "Mil-Sim" game but I believe in a variety of games to keep this hobby interesting.

Well, technically couldn't what we do be considered LARP-ing already? I mean, I've always heard the joke that Airsoft is just the kind of larping that will get you laid. ;) jk.

Heads up as we end May.
june 15th is the deadline to prepay for $35.
After that time the only payment accepted will be $60 on the day of the event.
If you intend to participate in this event make sure to prepay to ensure that get the most value for your money spent. We have put alot of effort into designing this event to appeal to participants.

Upon receiving PM I checked my calender and noticed I am leaving for New York that morning. Sadly I will be unable to attend this. Hopefully I will be able to attend the next one. Blame my senile gran gran.

Vagrants HOWL!

Postby Scythe » Wed Jun 02, 2010 5:27 am

We still have open slots for our team, the Vagrants. Message me if you want to know our theme and concept. We already have the minimum of 3, including Kendodude and Ka-Bar, and I think Cap n'Pickles. Confirm with me guys. Also, pay attention to your Facebooks because I will be inviting you to a pre-game meeting/slumber party/shitface shindig and perhaps we can all travel to South America together, by air or by sea. Also let me know if you are literate. Those who have grown up all their lives in the Cascadian forests with very little human contact should take this opportunity to culture yourselves on a global level. We will have literate Vagrants to help navigate, read signs, etc.

Please download the player handbook if you haven't already. Read through it, as it is VERY important that you follow the rules, conduct yourselves in a safe and respectable manner, and know the itinerary.

Report to me if you have questions or requests.
