Anyone ever hear of APS?

I was looking around at m4's and saw APS. They look very nice and at a great price. The description says that they have magpul externals and APS internals. Does anyone know how good APS parts are?

I have recently stumbled upon the line of Aks they have on Airsoft Panda.

Its cheap, and i thought that it was great for the price, the blow back is cool, and its always nice to see a new company. The wood on the AK 74 looks very nice.

But reviews say they are using a cheap Pot metal, so im going to stay away... : (

So the internals are cheap pot metal? It says the externals are magpul.

The plastic bits are MAGPUL brand: pistol grip, handguards, stock, magazine. The rest (the body and the gearbox, arguably the two most important parts) is still made by APS (or whoever they're rebranding from).

Just follow this basic rule: about 90% of the time, you get what you pay for. So you buy an AEG for $120, its going to be nothing special, but it will work.

agreed, but my question is what am I paying for. I mean for that price there's got to be a catch

edit: after more research i've been seeing that more people are saying it has pot metal.

Anything short of CNC aluminum is pot metal, it's a catch-all term. G&G, CA, Hurricane, etc. are all cast Zinc or similar metals. Pot metal.

I'd be more concerned of the quality of the internal components.

Good luck finding an airsoft gun without pot metal on it. Even Systema PTW's have pot metal, and lots of owners report weak/breaking bodies.
