ha ha ha f**k that series. pre-ordered the ICS AK-74M from ASGI. i wait 4 1/2 months to get it. pull it out quick charge the batt and... nothing but disappointment. call GI and send it back. they get it, tinker, call me, send back. round two, NOTHING! i had to send it back to GI 3 times before they sent me a TSD M4 with it. somebody here ended up getting it and my king arms FN FAL (which i will gladly soend the money on again!) for a CA m249 which was a beast

yeah, my ICS was working nicely for... a week, and then the selector started coming loose, then the ENTIRE gearbox was coming loose, and now, the hop up shitted out... yeah... not a good gun. I bet JGs have less problems than that thing

JG is the Godfather/big brotha of the clones :)

yeah, and could probably outperform an ICS anyday :P
Please, I insist.

I guess I'm the only person that's never had any problems with my ICS M4 (besides the occasional burst fire on semi-auto)

My ICS MP5 SD5 gave myself and 2 airsmiths quite a few problems. But the worst AEG I bought was a G&G UMP. That thing had way too many problems.

I personally never owned one but upon borrowing an ARES Tavor at a game I figure I won't be looking forward to any future releases.
The thing had a great body and look but between the hop-up being so hard to adjust and mags constantly falling out of the magwell, it was no picnic trying fight effectively in a woods fire fight.
One mag one kill.

Mags didn't feed properly, when they did feed the hop-up was all over the place, the battery installation was a joke, and all of its rather significant weight is forward of the pistol grip. It actually feels heavier than a fully-loaded M249.

When I pay $400 for something, be it a clone or not, I expect it to work well- or at least make it past the 10k mark...

Iv'e never owned a High end AEG, all my Guns iv'e bought that we're new in the box are KALASH AK's.

Ive had 3 DBOYS AK's. I have sold one in parts, how it got into parts, i dont know. But it worked till i decided to part it out. It worked on this abuse of; 60K rounds on the Piston and gears, a ghetto a$$ wire job i put together in a hurry to get it out to a game, no fuse, plastic bushings, no selector Switch(Fired full auto only). It had such amazing range, it was retarded (Ask Chefzilla). Never had problems with it shooting or acting strange (A few burnt fuse's from the half a$$ wiring i did)

My Second AK is the RK 06 Kalash series. It has real steel wood, has been fully submerged in the Sniperzden creek..... 3 times. It has After market parts, and the piston from my First AK still in it(100k rounds, i have a farm i go up to and shoot everything). Never had any problems with it, Except my Crappy Solder to Deans i did with a unknown type of solder.

And my Third AK which i bought for a friend, about 20k rounds in it, the only upgrade in it is a AIM piston with metal teeth(Testing it). Not any problems, and shoots great for a 5 inch barrel.

The most expensive one i bought was the RK 06 for 160$.

I will never drop a dime on any high end gun, unless its something not so common (MG42, M60, Etc).

There is no point in doing so, when the cheap clones work great. James went through 3 different guns (ARMY l85, a CA, and a Masada?) withen the first round of OP RES1. and my gun was the only one to get him through the day.

Another AK i have is my Cheap POS Cyma .028. I would never buy a new one, but for 50$ used, i could not pass it up. It was Juice machines first cyma, which god knows how many rounds have been in it, but the gun is a few years old, no upgrades(Deans) and the piston and gears look fine, no wear n' tear on the Piston, and no parts broken/gone.

The body is plastic, and the gearbox is old. But i run 7.4v lipos on it, for at least 10k rounds, and its a great shooter. Great for Loaners or a starting gun. All for 50$.

CA MP5 and CA SCAR-L.

On the flip side, my Real Sword Type 56 is the best gun I've ever owned.

I have 2 ICS and they have been great although My first one has had it's share of problems but they are so easy to work on yourself. Also the inability to use after market external parts without modification is a bummer.
So... ICS worst but not bad at all.

KWA M16... For not being used enough :(

But in all seriousness, it was my CA SL8. Thing was extrordinarily accurate, did some upgrades to it (M110 spring, new barrel) but nothing in particular to have the thing drain a fresh battery in less than 1000 rounds consistently.
