All the ones that I've gotten out of my JGs have lasted me two years and counting, besides the one dirty cell but it was a really easy fix. Everyone I know that has a JG battery has really liked them, and weren't crap at all. It's probably just because the newer JGs have a lot better QC, but the older ones were pieces of sh*t.

Have you used any batteries besides the one that came with your JG? Side by side there is no comparrison between a good battery and a JG battery.

I too have found the jg battery good. its sure no match for a matched pack.

i gotta disagree with you jester. 25 bucks for a 1500mAh is just way too expensive. last pack i bought that was small enough for an airsoft gun was 1800mAh for 15 bucks.

Yes, Intellect, G&G, G&P, D Power, Tenergy, Tanyo, and ASGI. Now I wouldn't consider all of those good battery brands but they still worked. But the JG worked very well along with the others.

will the 11.1 volt out of a good lipo destroy things like gearboxes and motors in a stock gun?

feel like a retard. the 8.4 was dead. by the time it couldnt power the motor out of the mechbox at all it was 7.8-7.9 volts. the adapter i had made had gotten damaged and that was the reason the charger was acting like the battery was done and it couldnt charge it. its on the charger now. hope 2 amps is not too much. lowest my peak charger will charge a 7 cell.

edit: 9.7 volts hot of the charger.
