Over a year ago before I deployed to Iraq I spent six months, $1000, four weapons, and hours of time with my buddy creating from scratch an M468 airsoft replica. This thing had EVERYTHING! Externally it had a CA full metal body, buffer tube, crane stock, DBoys S-system rail painted flat steel, madbull quicksilver silencer, B2 30mm Dotsight clone, and an egronomic grip. Internally it had CA steel reinforced gears, a brand new CA air nozzle, CA Hop-up and bucking, a CA Highspeed high torque motor and a steel piston head. However at the last minute my buddy and tech sent me down to the Rogue Militia shop to get a piston casing, he chose a TSD plastic one, not knowing any better at the time, I got it.
And that's where things went horribly wrong.
For the first few weekends this thing was a nail driver, it shot far and hard, and fast too. It was mean. The last weekend right before I deployed near the end of the day gears started a' spinin'. I knew what it was. So I gave him the rifle and told him to have it tip top once I got back, IN A YEAR.
Well over the course of the year my friend had some falling out with his family and his wife dumped all his airsoft gear at the RM shop, no big deal right?
Yeah not so much...
I come back home and ask him about my shit and get terrible news. Someone during the year took my motor, my dot sight, my silencer, my battery, and the sling plate off the reciever. Needless to say I was pissed. It took me almost another month to contact my friend and simply get back what was left of my rifle.
The point of all this is, I am looking for a highly skilled tech with decent prices to work on my rifle. I can order parts if that's whats needed or pay for parts for the tech but I need someone reputable and really knows what they are doing. After my deployment I really got screwed over for this, I'm not asking for a handout but I need some help with this bullshit. Everyone is not doing great financially right now and I'm no exception but I'll do what I can, I just need guidance. Anbody that feels capable, please respond.
