I never had KWA rifles before does it take a special size magazine made for KWA only or can it use universal magazines made by third party airsoft manufacturers? I would like to own one KWA M4 series.

Thanks!

Read the KWA forums, they have info on what mags work, and which dont.

will be the first to say KWA's are finiky about what mags they like and don't. Other than that they are a great out of the box gun.
Shooting and Photography are alike, everyone will tell you how awesome they are. Few people are that good at either.

In my experience the older KWA's where very finicky when it comes to which magazines work, but with the new KWA's are much better.

I have the RIS KWA and it is bloody wonderful... when it works. (which thankfully now is all the time) It is very finiky about the magazines. I got lucky and most of mine work with only a few issues with feeding when shooting full auto. All in all, the thing is damned solid. But if you do get one Virus, get a sling, because they get heavy.

I have a kwa tactical, but I'm concerned that the SIR rails wobble very slightly...also when it was delivered it was missing a rear sight. I'm afraid I may have a fake one, but the body has the KWA engraving and serial so maybe its just me.

I run a lipo in mine and mine works great, and i havent had any problems at all what soever with running a lipo. Also if you look on the kwa forums, they tell you the best mah / size of lipo battery recommended for thier gun to last the longest.
