Another broken g36, a g36c by the way...from umarex,hk,ares

not really a sign of broken gears... Its like the motor would not drain power... After charging the battery, it lasted like 5 mins and then it started to shoot slower and slower and then, no sign of life. So i thought it could be that the battery was low on power but, uh... I charged it again, and it was like immediantly when i plugged it in it was allready charged up so it wasnt low on power. But again, when i took out the gear box out of the body, it wouldnt make any kind of a noise when i pulled the trigger... what do you think is the problems guys? Could it be broken wiring? Damaged battery or motor?

Does anyone know where i can get a manual/instruction to get the motor out of the pistol grip? Thanks for looking!

I havent abused it in any way possible.. its like the 3rd time i took it out for shooting, mostly i did just shoot in semi. The battery was 8.4v, so the motor is actually rated up to 9.6v

It sounds like you have a dead (or damaged) battery.

Try getting ahold and testing your gun with a different battery.

maybe my battery is fine. After tightning and losening a screw, a "hex style screw" located in the middlebottom of the pistolgrip, i managed the motor to keep running again, but then it suddenly sounded like the pinion felt of and made a very terrefying noise, if not, it could be a much more important gear... I just seriosly cannot manage to get the damn motor out of the pistol grip... its like i have to kind of disassemble the gearbox a little to get into it... I live in norway, and its a painful long trip to umarex... there is a shop in norway who deals with gearboxes, but this gearsbox probly require special gear, aswell as knowledge to disassebly it... also its like 100 dollars a hour + the broken parts lol....

Sandol, last week I saw a Umarex G36C with a bad solder job on the trigger switch. The connection is outside the gearbox on the left side. This was the positive wire and had broken free after the guy who owned it had put about 100 rounds through it. Granted that could be totally unrelated and a fluke, but sounds like you are having problems with your electrical system as well. I would take a look at your connections and see if anything is touching where it shouldn't be.

Well, now the electric systems are online :) , but i just realized that as the electric stuffs work, the machanical does not hehe ... :( I actually managed to get to the motor and the pinion was nice, but i would not do any further disassalies for now. I dont know which gear that is stripped/destroyed. I think the reason of why the motor didnt kick off earlier was because it was kind of stuck because of the broken gear(s). All i did to get the elctronics to work, was to tighten a little screw who looks like its in a way tighning or losening the brushes/or it could be that it holds the wiring in to the solder tabs in a way... uhm.... So i guess or hope that the webshop in my country repairs it, but the problems is: How they get these parts... Or worst, i have to send it to umarex, and another thing i sthat the usermanual didnt follow with the gun, which contains the serial number, what about warranty now? xD

And now again the motor wont make a noise whn i pull the trigger, but thats most certainly because the pinion is stuck?

OH MY GOD im so confused of this gun. Im sorry to say alot of bullshit all the time, but now after some last exploreing, i did get this to work again :D It doesnt sound too good but i finally found out what the screw under the pistol grip was for. It eiteher elevate or lower the whole motor up or down, resulting the pinion to eiter sit tight or loose into the rest of the gears in the gear box, if you see the point? Also there is connection problems there for damn sure, but so far it is ok. gotta keep you updated after a test run tommorow Cheer xD :D :D
