KWA G36C Battery Question

Has anyone tried this battery on the KWA G36C? I tried a 7.4V 30C and it was very close to a 9.6v NIMH.

Would the 7.4V 35C 1700mah Lipo last longer then a NIMH 9.6V 1500mah? I ordered that battery.

In my thread here I posted a topic regarding this but I got very inaccurate info. Someone said it said a 7.4V 40C lipo would kill my KWA G36C. Only thing that bugs me about ASF is the inaccurate and second hand information.

7.4V lipo won't kill an AEG, unless you dry fire it very very often. I found 7.4V lipo is not as strong as the 9.6V Nicd, it is pretty close to the 8.4V nicd range.
I have use 7.4V Lipo on my GnP stock gearbox, no problems found, but, I only fire the gun maybe once a month.

Yeah what was the c rating on the battery? They are trying to tell me a 7.4v 35c lipo would kill he gun.

The rof is not even that high though with a 35c it's abut that of a 9.6. Nimh. What could go wrong? Should I get rid of the stock fuse?

God, this is why I hate asking these questions on ASF. The only knowledgeable person on there is pretty much verisimilitude.

As for the fuse, I see no problem on taking it out, I would personally keep it.

i run a 11.1v 20C on my KG36, and its been holding up for over a year and a half, so a 7.4 should work fine. i would get a 20c instead of a 35c to be safe

Could be more faster, also put more stress on the mechbox, gear & motor if I am not mistaken.
If you like faster ROF, better off to buy a faster motor & stay with the 7.4V battery

My guns only take 2 cells lipo, because they go into the buffer tube, 3 cells will have the stock stick all the way out
I still have two of those nicd batteries, don't like to waste them

A 7.4v lipo won't be hard on a KWA G36 gearbox... I'd be confident running an 11.1v 30c 2800mah lipo in one (after the standard AoE fix, shimming, etc first).
