HUTU all the way I would rather play at night than in the day any given time. Glowies rock and flanking and nailing someone from behind in the dark is a gas. No I do not have NV nor do I find I need it. Slow and steady wins the day.

We played a night game at Mountain Viper and both NvsS and they were in no way static you had people running thru the woods in all directions and opening up on any little fart ... I mean noise they heard. I went though 800+ rounds at Mountain viper and covered a lot of ground in that time.

Can't wait until the 30th of Oct. for our next night game.

You don't have to use them only at night games. They can also be used in some cqb games. I used to play with one at Strike Zone.

Someone ought to watch a lunar calendar (like Bigfoot did for Night 1) and pick a night with a big, bright moon during a month without much cloud cover. After that, you'll need a field with a fairly sparse canopy and you've got yourself a great night game setting.

Sell glow-in-the-dark ammo and tracer units and you're set. It'd be a big undertaking, but it'd be so awesome.

Matt had a very cool night game at Op Belligerence. The big searchlight and all the flares were cool as hell.

Yeah you gotta break it up with some illumination. Some flares or external lights, etc. Also, night games with no specific objectives are not very fun.

We used to play a game back at church camp (yes church camp) where there was a known point that everyone had to get to. It was played at night and there were counselors with spot lights and flood lights. We played it in the sand dunes so it had all kinds of open areas with cover. If you were spotted you had to go back to the spawn area. If you were hit with a paintball you went to the jail.

If you had players with tracer rounds and spruce it up a bit it could be awesome. Essentially it would be a Normandy beach invasion at night

Maybe we should do a community buyin?

It would make hosting night games much cooler. I can now also get red tracer ammo. Red vs green!!!!

What's your price for a tracer unit? I've been shopping around for one. It's on my list of things to get.

That happens in day games as well Nasty with both experienced and novice players as well, so I don't think it's just a issue with night games. I don't know how many times I have seen people cowering under cover, the first time a bb flies at them. Am I guilty of it of course, so I can cast the first stone. Me, when I stand still, that's just cause I am giggling like a little school girl when the GID's start flying.

Meh... tracers work both ways - they are a big sign to anyone in the area that says "Here I am! Come get me!"

I'd just as soon go without them, but I guess that's just me.

That's contrary to realism, bro. Real guns have muzzle flashes. You can't just shoot off rounds in the middle of the night without anybody being able to see where you are. That's bullshit. This is why EVERYONE should have tracers, if even without tracer rounds just for the muzzle flash effect.

You have a point Grease but thats why you...SHOOT....MOVE.....COMMUNICATE!

@Wicked_One: We did it at Camp Bradley on the coast. If only we had airsoft tracers back then!

Too bad we dont have a field like in AZ where they have a huge trench system and scattered buildings for night games

There is something else, I've noticed when using a tracer unit.... People call their hits alot better. It's hard to say you weren't hit, when a bright glowing bb bounces off your chest, for everyone to see.
