Than why would they make aftermarket products?

ahm because in some countries it is not a Federal Offense like in the US?

Wut?

Its fine to remove the orange tips on airsoft guns. They are only required for importing and mailing.

For legal reasons it must be clearly identified that a replica weapon is not a true firearm and must be show during sale, transport, and at anytime the realness of the replica could be questioned by authorities.

Anything you do with your personal weapon after purchase of it is up to you. And only danger that putting on a non-orange flashhider is if you take it out where the authorities may be called.

Why else? To make money! It is illegal to use sabot rounds for muzzle loader hunting in the state of Oregon but they sell them here. Just because they sell something doesn't mean it is Legal to own.
Can you legally buy a handgun at your stated age? No but I am sure you know enough people to get one if you really wanted one.

For the most part it's legal to take off the orange tip, it's not a federal offense. If you run around in public waving it, that's when you get in serious trouble. In my area it's only a misdemeanor to have a non-lethal gun without an orange tip. Which is silly. Research your local laws.

You would think the lack of gunfire and its replacement with the whiny noise of a motor would be a dead giveaway...

People aren't going to be able to tell the difference between a real gun and a 1:1 scale replica with no orange tip. If you act like it is a real gun people will think it is. Even if you are shooting it, someone will still call the police. Just, don't take your airsoft gun out in public. (Why would you be shooting it in a public place anyway?)

This again? It is not a federal offense to own a replica without an orange tip. Last I checked it was illegal to ship or sell a replica without the tip, and that's it.

Think before you go handing out "federal crimes" willy nilly.

take a blow drier and heat the flash hider up. The hotter it is the easier it is to get off. Then twist. No boiling water mess. No sharp edges.

Boiling water mess? I know you're Irish and all, but just because you see boiling water. Doesn't me you gotta drop a potato and cabbage in it.

on the KWA KG36, the flash hider shouldnt be glued, but there is a little screw that screws it to the barrel. after you remove that it should twist off if you try hard enough
