Upgraded rifle double feeding

Postby Merchant » Tue Oct 12, 2010 4:13 pm

I recently purchased a MOSFET and a 11.1 Lipo and installed them both into my CA M15. It has now started to double feed. Now, normally I would assume this is because of the higher rof, but it isn't consistently double feeding. Sometimes it will double feed a number of shots in a row, and sometimes it will not. Also when the hop up is adjusted higher it seems to not double feed. Anyone have a guess as to why this is? Will I need to open 'er up again and install a sector chip?

Did you mess with the barrel/hopup assembly when you were inside it? You probably pulled the barrel out a bit and that's giving just enough room in the hopup chamber for two BB's to get in at once. Try pushing the barrel back into the unit and see what happens.
For every action (Bang) there is an equal and opposite reaction (HIT!)

I have checked the hop up, everything seems to be properly placed in that regard.

Could be a warn hop up bucking,
or your barrel not being all the way in your hop unit.

Take a pin or something (another barrel works best) and lightly tap ur inner barrel into you outer barrel, should seat it better on the hop up.
like was said earlier
