Sweet, I hope it will be a good first impression. We have a lot of good guys attending this game i.e. Chesty,Pacman,Ash, and plenty of others, so I'm thinkin it will be an excellent first game!

TonyA wrote:Question: For scavengers and Outcasts, is it being limited to bolts or are other weapons allowed? I was thinking of using my new shotgun.

You can use what ever you want, as long as it doesn't have a winding/box mag. Using a shotgun for your first game will be a challenge, if you have an AEG I would go with that.

Well its certainly not your personality ;)

You should come Jew, and invite some PSC to, those are good guys.

Define booby traps and explosives. If by explosives you mean any kind of pyro then no. I ain't gettin my a$$ sued because someone burned the farm down.

Update

So the roster should be updated, if you see any discrepancies let me know. Also I am closing Private Contractors. If you want to be on PC forces, post anyway, and depending upon how many people we have for Gov forces, there is a good chance you will be counted in.

Also remember it may be raining, prepare accordingly. Wear water proof shells under your camo/gear!

Hey I wanted to say thanks for putting together this event Merchant, i know putting stuff like this together can be a headache.

I was wondering about gun rentals, The Farm sometimes rents out guns so will there be rentals this time as well?

Technically it is any camo goes for PC's but if it is all you have go for it.

Don't thank me yet

Don't know about the rentals, but I shall ask the owner now.

>>Update<<

So it looks like there will be 5 Thompsons available to rent. For $20 you get the rifle, battery, high cap, and 1 fill of the mag for free.

But you say this goes against the mid cap limit you say! Yes it does, but if you are renting a rifle then you are exempt from the mid only rule.

Yes I realize this is a little unfair, but hey suck it up.

Another Update

So I collaborated with my buddy that I am working on this with. We have some really awesome ideas that should come into play.

Private forums will be up soon. And you will NEED to look those up, or on game day you will be lost and confused. You also NEED to know the back story because this isn't just a go shoot them up game certain things that happen in the game will affect the story.

What I need:

I need a team leader for outcast! This person needs to be 18 or older and well organized. So if you are up for the task shoot me a PM! I really need someone to step up here!

I also need a cook and an admin or two. The Team leaders will be half admin half players, but I would still like to have another admin or two.

--

People please step up on this one and take initiative! Game day is drawing close and these things need to be in order (yes I will admit it, I did procrastinate this a little-my bad but it will all work out).

-- Once again thanks for your support

Well I wanted to rock my ghillie and just snipe foos ... but I can volunteer to command the outcasts. Should be interesting since we have no comms. I envision orchestrated chaos. I suppose I can still rock the ghillie, right?

are costumes a must for scavengers, or are they just strongly encouraged?

Thank you Vaughn, you are a life saver. For the first half of the game you will get to run around shootin foo's. The second half not so much, but thank you for stepping up.

Erm it is required. It isn't that hard to do, I mean all you are really doing is dressing like a homeless person with an assault rifle.

The private forums are up!

To access them, below the AP symbol it says forums>forum index>APOCALIPTICA>Gov/PC or Scavenger/Outcast

Please request access to the private forums there will be some intel on there team specific, so please do not share. Also there will be your objectives and a map where respawn points and such will be as well as objectives.

What you put into an event that's themed is what you get out of it.

You can go to goodwill and get some raggedy clothes for cheap and feel like it's an apocalypse, or you can wear a skateboard company shirt and jeans and feel like a 16 year old in his backyard in civilian clothes.
