Get the Sack your Arms will thank you. I am jealous about the sight you got.
Thank you for the recommendation for the sling. I have an original issue SAW Sling and love it but I will look into the Vickers Blue Force SAW sling.

I guess all I can say now is “Get Some" :beltfed:

I had a fire sale to get this thing. I went through all my airsoft stuff. A bunch of it was stuff I was hanging on too but never really used. I sold most ofit plus some real steel items such as my EOTech and ACOG. If you want something that might be a good way to earn some cash. AP has an excellent For Sale section to help you do that.

By the way, here is the link for the airsoft Specter Dr. replica.

I also wanted to ask what is the military issuing for saw slings?

I will have to get you a picture of it but it looks like a standard M-16 sling but it has a large pad on it to help with the weight of the rifle.

Gotta bump an old thread. A search on Google brought me right back to my own forums. Go figure.

So you guys say the MAG brand "nutsack" boxes are the best, but from what I can tell they only work with CA. Is there a similar product for A&K, and if so does anybody have experience with how they feed? I'm looking at picking up another 249, but the magazine options are important. I can't stand a big 5,000 round plastic piece of shit.

Matt

Why would a MAG Nutsack not work for an Echo-1 or A&K? Aren't they just copies of the CA?

The STAR M249 was very similar in feed to the CA, but the wire routing was super-different. You could mod the wiring and then use a standard mag, but out of the box they were different.

As is, the MAG M249 pouches will work in the A&K/Echo1.

Ares and Star use their own proprietary mag.

The MAG offering is ok, but I'd advise you to take a look at the CA nutsack mag. I've had both and I ended up giving my MAG mag away. The CA is a lower capacity(1200 rds)model, but has an auto wind function and is more reliable at higher ROFs. I also found it to be a little better built externally. I hated the MAG pressure switch feed mechanism.

That's useful info. The 1200 round capacity doesn't bother me, I used to rock a TOP M60. Same capacity. Plus it's not like you can't just have a couple extra hi-caps in case you run out.

Yep. The CA unit might run you a few more dinero, but the quality and auto feed more than make up for it.

Top Gun, regarding the SAW sling, check this one out. I have one and other than the cost, its a keeper.
