CTLOA??

Postby Patrick750 » Sat Oct 30, 2010 5:12 pm

CTLOA took the place of the old S4 tactical building -RIP :'( - and is an outdoor adventure/airsoft arena place. Has anyone been to the airsoft arena? I want to go there for some CQB action but idk if enough people know about it or if i'll be 1 of 2 people there to play.

It's actually called "Oregon Airsoft Arena", but the site you linked to has a link to their name and address since they're doing a zombie game this weekend.

A lot of people go. It's mostly non-AP people and kids that do the arena stuff, but teams like SOTA train there regularly.

I've not been to it since it's changed, but from what I'm told it was tires for a while and now it's got a few plywood buildings inside.

Anyone who runs an airsoft arena for a living is a despicable human being.

Yeah. I've gone to S-4 a few times but haven't been to the OAE place.

so lots of people play there and sometimes people train there? That's kind of how S4 was and I was fine with it. Although i would like to see an airsoft arena where some more experienced players would go to.

I went there a couple weekends ago and there were about 18-20 people there. That was on a Saturday though, so week days might be different.

I'm there every weekend with a group of mature experienced players. There's usually 8-10 of us plus another 6-8 younger players.

well I have a job that pays enough but I admin there a decent amount when I'm not playing so I have an advantage there. I go a lot cause it's closer to where I live compared to some of the OP's. I would rather go to those but not easy for me to do. (also I did word tht a little wrong, I'm there everyweekend but it's usually Saturday only.)

So far, training there has been good, but not sure about normal play. Terry has been good to us.
I do hope that after all this discreditable shuffling we may be taken into action. It has a wonderful way of reconciling a man with himself: and with everybody else, sometimes. - 1st Lt. James Dillon

It's funny because I didn't know I had a "way" as much as a command. :)
